This new theme is a black version of my recently released theme "VistaVG". Its also a Windows XP port of my "Vista Black Theme for Vista".

Download Link:
You can download the theme using following link:
Make Windows XP look-like Windows Vista
How to Install and Use:
1. Once you download the file, extract it. You'll get a folder.
2. In this folder, you'll get 2 more folders:
- Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Copy them to "%windir%\Fonts" folder.)
- Theme (This folder contains the main theme.)
3. Download and run UXTheme patcher using following topic:
How to Install & Use Themes in Windows?
4. Copy all contents in "Theme" folder to "%windir%\Resources\Themes\" folder and apply the theme using Desktop Properties.
NOTE: In the above step, %windir% means C:\Windows\ folder. We assume that Windows is installed in C: drive in your system. If you installed Windows in some other drive, replace C: with the appropriate drive letter.

Hey guys I need some help and I really want this theme,
I downloaded the patch thing and the file for the theme but when I run the patch thing it says something about my cd rom is messed up or something and that I need to insert some sort of cd that came with my computer (I think) but I don't know where that CD is..Is there another way to install this theme or can someone just walk me through each step because I think I did something wrong. Thanks everyone.

^^ If you are talking about the message coming from Windows File Protection, ignore it.

Sir please new add Thems in black xp
Hi
I did the steps but I end up with the classic windows taskbar. I just had this formatted (SP3) what does the UXpatch thing do to my laptop? I'm kinda scared of running the patch. Thanks.
VG
^^ You'll need to run UXTheme patcher to be able to use this or any other 3rd party theme. By default Windows doesnt allow us to use custom themes so we need to patch Windows to allow custom themes. Its not dangerous, so you can go ahead without any worries. Just make sure you use the correct patcher version.
Hi
Okay, thanks! Just ran the patch and now I'm using the theme, one question though: is there any way I can make the font look smaller, like this:
i79.photobucket.com/albums/j153/heumee/blinkiepage.jpg
this was how the font looked like (not bold) back then, now it's like this:
i79.photobucket.com/albums/j153/heumee/blinkiepageBOLD.jpg
I definitely think the normal font looks way better than bold, and well I'm not very familiar with desktop>appearance>advanced settings (dunno which is which). Thank you very much.

^^ Enable Clear Type font and use the tuner to customize the appearance of font:
