Download Windows Vista Dark Theme “VistaVG Black” for Windows XP

This new theme is a black version of my recently released theme "VistaVG". Its also a Windows XP port of my "Vista Black Theme for Vista".

How to Install and Use:

1. Once you download the file, extract it. You'll get a folder.

2. In this folder, you'll get 2 more folders:

Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Copy them to "%windir%\Fonts" folder.)
Theme (This folder contains the main theme.)

3. Download and run UXTheme patcher using following topic:

4. Copy all contents in "Theme" folder to "%windir%\Resources\Themes\" folder and apply the theme using Desktop Properties.

NOTE: In the above step, %windir% means C:\Windows\ folder. We assume that Windows is installed in C: drive in your system. If you installed Windows in some other drive, replace C: with the appropriate drive letter.

hi.. i copied the Fonts and the theme contents to the destination as u told.. but when i applied the theme, the taskbar switched to window classic taskbar.. ='( please reply asap.. thank u

Hello,

My desktop looks awesome after I installed the theme :) However I have one small problem...my icons (such as my computer, recycle bin, etc...) show the xp icons.

dude i cant see my icons in the bottom right corner, and when i extract the theme to windows, resources, themes. when i click the 3kb theme file i get a black and white toolbar and everything looks bad, i have to use the theme file in the theme C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\VistaVG Black by Vishal Gupta\Theme\VistaVG Black folder

i have to use the theme in C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\VistaVG Black by Vishal Gupta\Theme\VistaVG Black and even then, i have no icons in the bottom right of the taskbar, what should i do?
