This new theme is a black version of my recently released theme "VistaVG". Its also a Windows XP port of my "Vista Black Theme for Vista".

Download Link:
You can download the theme using following link:
Make Windows XP look-like Windows Vista
How to Install and Use:
1. Once you download the file, extract it. You'll get a folder.
2. In this folder, you'll get 2 more folders:
- Fonts (This folder contains Segoe UI fonts required for the theme. Copy them to "%windir%\Fonts" folder.)
- Theme (This folder contains the main theme.)
3. Download and run UXTheme patcher using following topic:
How to Install & Use Themes in Windows?
4. Copy all contents in "Theme" folder to "%windir%\Resources\Themes\" folder and apply the theme using Desktop Properties.
NOTE: In the above step, %windir% means C:\Windows\ folder. We assume that Windows is installed in C: drive in your system. If you installed Windows in some other drive, replace C: with the appropriate drive letter.

Hi, I can't find the "%windir%\Resources\Themes\" folder and "%windir%\Fonts" folder. Where can I find it? Please reply asap. Thankyou. (:
VG
^^ %windir% means "Windows" directory in the drive where Windows is installed.

How can I change the whole fonts back to Tahoma? I hate Segoe. Is it possible at all?
For the rest, I love the theme, it is exactly what I wanted in black for XP. Congrats!
VG
^^ You can change the font from "Desktop Properties -> Appearance -> Advanced".
DanielSpain
^^ Thanks!
But three problems.
1- The fonts of the taskbar remain in Segoe big size. Can I change that too?
2- Since I always use a laptop with the mouse pad, I need big scrolling bars. When I try to make them wider, the window title bar get very small. When I make them larger again, the taskbar gets super big and the icons distorted. It is a strange problem that I also found in the RTM Standard theme, but not in the basic, which is the one I use.
3- When I make the scrolling bars larger (I like to use 24), the little arrows on top and below get very ugly and distorted too. This is not that important but I am very picky about a perfect look.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
VG
^^ Sorry but its built-in in the theme and can't be changed.
DanielSpain
Not for me then, thanks a lot!

^^ Use WinRAR or 7-Zip. Both can be found in our Downloads section.
