Run TweakUI in compatibility mode and it'll work in Vista. You can also use other software like Tuneup Utilities to repair icon cache.

i downloaded tweakUI but you cant run it in vista, theres no option in compatibility for vista, only xp or windows 2003, when i try an install it in normal it says set up fail.

before when i was trying to change themes from vista to the mac osx 10.5, the mac then would load up the desktop picture and were the minimize and maximize top of folder is, they are windows classic, so its like two themes mixed if you know what i mean? might help?????

hi i've found out that if i run the dock as a adminstraighter it works, untill i shut down the computer!!!!! then the dock resets???

hi i downloaded the TUNEUP utilities 2008 trail, i've tryed the 1 click maintenanace program, applications have no problems, registry files no problem, temp files no problem, only 1 problem in system components, which it wont fix. im not sure which program to run inside tuneup utilities to clean icon cache?

Click on "Tuneup Styler 2" and then click on "Repair" link in left side pane. Now You can repair the icon cache.

I've got all my ICONS and folders back to normal vista.
still can uninstall the vista o s x!!!! tryed your installer you told me to download and like i said before, it opens as a zip box all in german i think, theres two buttons, dont matter which one you click the program dont remove, if you go to the bottom left, all programs, then vista o s x, uninstall, box comes up and says do you want to uninstall, click yes....... it then says program succesfully removed then you restart, to find its still there!!!!!!!!!!!
