We have posted a tutorial about settings your desired wallpaper as background image in any folder:
How to Set Your Desired Wallpaper as Folder Background Image in Windows XP
But this method no longer works in Windows Vista and 7. So today we are going to share a small utility which allows you to set any wallpaper as background image in folders in Windows Vista and 7.
Thanks to Andreas for creating "Vista Folder Background". It integrates itself in Explorer and adds a new tab "Folder Background" in Folder Customization dialog box.

1>extract the file to a folder which u make....it can be any folder
2> once done u will see folders inside 32 n 64 bit
3> choose 32 bit and then
3.1> double click on folderbckg and instal it.
3.2> then right click on install and RUN it as administrator....go on clicking yes or next where necessary.
4>i would advice u too restart ur laptop or computer......and it is done.
5> once ur comp restarts........right click some folder on ur desktop or anywhere u have made it and u will see the otion "CUSTOMIZE THIS FOLDER" and then choose the last option " folder background "

can anyone help me out. i have installed the "Vista folder background" and it was working great for a while, but when i started changing backgrounds or remove the backround image of one folder , the backround image do get changed/removed ,but when you use the "back botton" to go to a previous folder w/ backgound image, and return to the folder with removed background, the image from the folder with background sorts of overlaps/lingers on the folder w/o background , specialy when you move your cursor to open a folder, and i cant see or read any of the file names. i have to constantly rightclick "refresh" on the folders to remove the lingering jumbled image. Can anyone kindly help me on this. I really like having background image on my folders, im a bit of a customize freak, so id regret having to go without it and would like to keep using it if i could get it working and it wont be bothersome to fix. can anyone please help me on this please, thanks.
