I'm glad to announce my new theme "Vista Black" for Windows Vista.
I have created this theme for "Windows Vista Basic" users who can't use "Aero" in their systems and are forced to use the Vista Basic theme. I have tried to make it similar to Vista Aero theme.
NOTE: It'll apply the Aero theme by default. If you want to use the "basic" version which I made specially, then change it from "Windows Color and Appearance -> Open classic appearance properties for more color options" and select the Basic version from the list and then apply.

so, I've downloaded everything, but it keeps getting into the old windows mode theme.

^^ Use Tuneup Utilities to apply the theme. It'll work without any problem.

^^ Download WinRAR or 7-zip and it'll extract the RAR file.

You rule Vishal, Vista Black is spot-on. I do graphic/web design for a living and windows vista themes suck. Even the Aero Theme Stinks for so many reasons, it obviously fell short of its aspirations. You just stopped one customer converting to mac, they should pay you royalties.

Why is it I cannot apply VistaBlack without an error?
Vista SP1 (all updates current). Patched uxtheme.dll
If I try to do this through the Personalize > Theme, I get error: The theme could not load. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
If I try to use the latest trial version of tuneup Utilities, I get an error that the theme is for Windows XP.

^^ Are you using any other language version of Windows? The theme will only work for English versions.

I'm using I've upgrade my computer from XP to Vista Basic, and I've tried mutiple times to download and install, your VistaBlack theme for basic, and when I go to use it, it loads it as white and take its back to Windows 2000 or whatever, pretty much the last way windows looked before XP... What am I doing wrong?

^^ I think you have not patched your system using VistaGlazz. Please read the Point 1 in "How To Use" section in the description.
