I'm glad to announce my new theme "Vista Black" for Windows Vista.
I have created this theme for "Windows Vista Basic" users who can't use "Aero" in their systems and are forced to use the Vista Basic theme. I have tried to make it similar to Vista Aero theme.
NOTE: It'll apply the Aero theme by default. If you want to use the "basic" version which I made specially, then change it from "Windows Color and Appearance -> Open classic appearance properties for more color options" and select the Basic version from the list and then apply.

maybe im just really stupid...but where is "%windir%\Resources\Themes” ive searched for it and all..my file path to themes is C:/>Windows>Resources>Themes...
and also when i downloaded the file it didnt download as a theme folder it came as a zipped folder so it doesnt display when i go to choose it from the drop down menu in themes..
any help pleeaassee
VG
^^ You are at the correct place. %windir% means "C:\Windows" in your system.
Use WinRAR or 7-zip to extract the downloaded ZIP file.

Thanks for the reply VG,I hope you will be able to update it when you can,I use it in Vista and I like it a lot.I simply cannot stand the overlapping user pic, maybe it's just me,but I think it just belongs inside the frame! It bugged me in Vista and now it's the same in Windows 7!! Is there any way to move it or remove it that any one knows about?Otherwise i'll just wait for you VG.And thanks again for your work on these themes.
VG
^^ You'll need to use Basic theme if you want that userpic inside the startmenu. Its by design.
