As you all know "ViGlance" is Windows 7 Superbar clone for Windows XP. It brings almost all Windows 7 Superbar features to XP. You can get more information about ViGlance here.
Now the little utility has been updated and a new version is available to download which now comes with Pin Items and Move Items support. So now you can Pin desired shortcuts to Taskbar and also change program buttons position just like Windows 7:

I used to use it on Vista but I must say it actually sucks compared with the real Superbar. I don't know how's it functionning on XP, but on Vista I often had a bug for which the previews didn't close and froze. Also, the previews load slow and look ugly with the way too large blue window.

Are there any other programs like this?
I tried using sbar but it stopped working. I think I'm stick with viglance and object dock unless i can find a better replacement...

ViGlance is made for XP only, not Vista. So that would be the reason why it sucks so bad for you.

I dont think pinning and changing is the new feature of this version but rather an enhancement. I am using the build before this new version and it can pin and change position of the taskbar icon. This app. is very excellent on a windows 7 theme with superbar.

It works fine in both XP and Vista. I use it on both. The lastest build removed the ever annoying bug of the random preview window pop-up. The pinning feature has been around since the first summer release, but each time you use a newer version you must re-pin since the program is what saves your changes.

Build 1194 is the real thing.. it removed the ever annoying bug of the random preview window pop-up and it make using vista in grouping more effectually like windows 7.. (no more heavy bug) love it.... thankx lee-soft.com
