We have blogged about "PaintRibbon" app in past which can bring Windows 7 look-like Paint tool in XP and Vista. PaintRibbon has been created by our friend "Aviassin".
Now a new version 0.3 is available which comes with following new features and enhancements:
- All new graphics to match Windows 7 RTM
- Fixed button check errors
- Major performance enhancements
Its a portable app so you don't need to install it. Simply run the EXE file.

hi, vishal sorry to say but the 0.2 version of paint ribbon is not working. i m using win xp sp 2 with windows 7 customization pack.the earlier version was also not working on my pc. it says = "the application failed to initialize."please suggest something to me.

You Need That Stupid Netframework 3.5 To Make It Work.
Pros Of Instaling Netframework:
You Can Use Tools Made With .Net Tegnology,Accelerates A Little The Internet Conexion.
Cons:
Cpu Usage Constantly At 100%!
Consumes Very Much Ram Too!

thanx friends but .net framework worth 200 mb is very huge for me. i have only 2 gb total space with 1.6 gb full and some 400-500 mb left. and 512 mb ram so i cant use it. lolz.
