u know i was able to increase my WEI by .1 without buying any hardware and by upgrading ram i was able to increase it by .3 so thats .4 more..damn truth

Hey there and thanks for this little tidbit. However I have a question: How can I change it back to the original? After I got it up to 9.9, I click on update my score and nothing happens. It does the whole assessment thing but the score is not updated. Any ideas?

There is no way you can get a 9.9 rating from a 2.0 processor. All he/she did was change the Rating(WinSAT.xml file) and that does nothing to improve your computer.

This is an awesome trick, but i don't think it will really boost your computers real time performance... Well i can brag about friends that my comp. runs like a race car now... although it cant run Halo..

This seems pretty useless to me. I mean just fooling Vista into thinking your computer is better than it is has no real benefit. While it can open up a few extra options theres no guarantee that your system can run those options because you comp isnt up to spec for those extras. All this does is trick Vista into THINKING your comp is up to spec. Waste of time. Want to get the most out of those extras,the only REAL solution is upgrading your hardware.
