Here is another eye candy application for customization lovers. Recently we blogged about "Glass CMD" which puts glass in Command Prompt. Now its turn of Notepad.
"Transparent Notepad" is a small application developed in C# which can be used as an alternative for default Notepad. It provides all basic options along with some advanced features like:
- Rich text support
- Undo, Redo
- Insert Images
- Paragraph, Bullets
It also provides a small toolbar containing useful buttons for basic tasks.
The most impressive thing which it is all about is the transparency. Its completely transparent:

It can be used in Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista and 7.
You can give it a try using following link:

Cool, can I replace notepad with this one, like with the 7 calc?
VG
^^ Yup. But take a backup of original file in case you face any problem and want to restore it back.
Rohan
Thx VG for all these information sending through Newsletter.....

Hey guys, while the software is eye-candy, its not that smooth to use. Ex: Keyboard shortcuts do not work. Also, the transparency cannot be adjusted.
Thanks VG.
