TIP 1: How to import your Outlook contacts to Windows Phone 7
Contacts on Windows Phone 7 are synced to your phone from various accounts added to your phone. Services that sync contacts to the phone include Facebook, Windows Live, Google, and Outlook (using Exchange only). All contacts are stored in the People Hub in a single aggregate view.

When you try to use the Zune software with Windows Phone 7, you experience one or more of the following symptoms:
- Your phone isn't detected by your computer.
- The Zune software doesn't open when your phone is connected.

In this case, phone is not displayed as one of the selections in the top menu and, when you hover your mouse over the device icon in the lower-lefthand corner, it is not connected.
