#2. "It's easiest to place the image file in the same location as the userChrome.css file." Easiest? Only... since Firefox 3 I've yet to find any other way for this to work at all. All of my "image" URLs (data/chrome) from Firefox 2 stopped working altogether. What is it about Firefox 3 that prevents you from referencing images NOT in the chrome folder? Thanks.

^^ Just type "about:cache" (without quotes) in Firefox addressbar and press Enter. It'll show the cache location and also you can check all sites stored in cache.

i want to ask about cache, opera can generate lists of cache files, so we know visited sites, how about firefox??? where is history location ???
another question, some forum hide link and we need to click "thanks" and i do not see anything to click, why? is firefox's WYSIWYG enable or disable by default

^^ Its not outdated. You'll need to create a new String value with the name "browser.cache.disk.parent_directory" and then set its value to the desired folder path.

dear vishal,
first of all thank you for sharing. your website is indeed a useful read. this is my first time. how ever, the above tweaks for firefox may be outdated, as i am using version 2, and i can't find browser.cache.disk.parent_directory anywhere in about:config.
