Dear Vishal,

This is great stuff. I am very picky about my privacy, so I will not be giving another party my bookmarks to make statistical data. I also do not have the need for third party software that performs the above function but utilizing more resources to do so.
This is great as I constantly have to remind myself to update my backup and replace the old. This is a huge time saver for me as I have literally thousands of bookmarks.

What about MozBackup? Google it. It will backup not only your bookmarks but addons and settings too. It not only works for Firefox but for Thunderbird too.

Cheers

There is a firefox extension named "Foxmarks". We need to make an foxmark account and from there on, foxmark will make sure that all your bookmarks are kept safe on its server, it will update them as new bookmarks are added. And bookmarks can be retrived on any pc by using that foxmark account.
