The above tutorial shows how you can get the iconized taskbar easily by modifying Windows registry.
And now we are very pleased to announce that our very close friend "Solo-Dev" aka "Villain" has created a very small standalone utility exclusively for AskVG.com readers which can do the same task automatically.
"Taskbar Iconizer" is a small portable tool which uses the same registry trick to provide iconized taskbar feature in XP and Vista. You just need to download the file, run it and it'll show following window:
Simply click on the right-side image which shows "Windows 7 Type Iconized" and you have done. You'll need to log off or restart the system to take affect. To restore default settings, click on the left-side image.

i mean the icon not goin big as the taskbar...what must i do?????????

It created serious problems for me.
When I log into. The taskbar is gone explorer.exe is not running.
desktops and icons are gone.
When I try to run the explorer, nothing happens except a window pops up,
so I can browse and launch other programs that I have.
But not explorer.exe and taskbar, it is terribly annoying.
I've reset the system but nothing happens.

can u like to tell me that if i want to do this on winxp's registry then how can i make my own xp cd next time when i install my new xp its effect automaticaly load

What if i want the icons LARGE and like WINDOWS 7, and also if i have the smae app running, and i choose dont group how come there isnt like a line thing, thers just multiple icons
