I use ViGlance http://lee-soft.com/viglance to remove the "O-btrusive R-ubbish B-onbon"
There's an Option in the Tool to hide or use own Startbuttons. (for XP and Vista) -> W7-> ?

Thanks, very cool program. However is there anyway to call start button without using any keyboard shortcut maybe a new shortcut in toolbar?

One of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it.
Even i uninstalled all usb root hubs under universal serial bus controllers but it didn't work out.

you can (almost) do this via restorator or reshack. i always replace the start button png's to a 1px wide transparent one. this creates a 1 px wide invisible start button

love it! saves room, but I would not do this on Win 7.
