Sometimes Windows XP, 2000 and 2003 users face a strange problem, the Folders Pane in Windows Explorer becomes grayed out e.g. disabled. It doesnt show the folder tree:

To fix this problem, download following .ZIP file, extract it and then run the extracted .REG file. It'll ask for confirmation, accept it:
folders_pane_grayed_out_in_windows_explorer_fix
Now try to open Windows Explorer again and it'll start showing the folder tree:

Can you be more specific about your problem? When do you see the blue screen? While setup starts copying files? Pls give more details.
