I changed the colour scheme to basic 32 and the problem was solved

^^ It happens because of the half userpic coming outside of the startmenu. Nothing can be done.

Certainly it is an improvement on the poor aspect of Windows XP ;

It happens I prefer the taskbar at the top of the screen and I´ve stumbled with the problem of a lot of pixels gap between the taskbar and the start menu when start button is clicked and menu collapses down ;

Please take a look at the picture @ http://www.erpinformatica.com.br/gap_betweenbar_menu.jpg to save words ;

is there a way to correct it ?

Dont work for me,i press the Theme.exe and i only get the background and nothing else, and i get the Windows Old for theme. help me?

^^ Are you using Classic start menu? If yes, change it to new Startmenu using Taskbar Properties.
