Still can't repair the system file. I've tried all commands listed in the troubleshooting section, all that happened was it added another boot option for xp which still doesn't work. I'm guessing now my only option is to reinstall xp?

You didnt try to copy "system" file. There is a point in "Frequently Asked Problems" for the same problem.

I installed Qt AddressBar, then exec "Hide Menubar & Addressbar.reg", but when i right click to make appear QtAddressBar again appears the menu bar, how do i do to only show QtAddressBar and standard buttons?

^^ You can safely try it. I have used it and many other ppl too. No problem. There must be some problem in Smoke420 system thats why he faced problems. :)

I have tried to get addressbar to work. I have installed and reinstalled. I have .net 2sp1 installed and .net 3.0sp1. still no dice. any suggestions?

I got it... Just had to show it on the view bar. Now it wont integrate with the styler bar you suggested to include.

^^ Its complete theme. Use VistaGlazz to patch your system or Tuneup Utilities to apply the theme.
