  1. ^^ Its working fine here in Windows 7 x64 SP1. Try to put the exe file in “Windows\System32” and then run it. You can also try to run default Command Prompt using All Programs menu.

  2. Weird thing… I get “Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application” when I place it in system32 folder…

  3. Forgive me, but I’m having a hard time understanding why anyone would want to do this, I mean beyond the “it looks cool” effect. I would think that a completely Aero glass window like this would make it harder to see the text, and thus what you’re trying to do. Doesn’t really seem practical to me.

  4. I’m not sure but since Dementor mentioned runtime problem, you guys can try to install following:

    microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=7B9BA261-7A9C-43E7-9117-F673077FFB3C&displaylang=en

  5. It doesn’t change anything. :/

The title of the error window is : .NET Framework Initialisation Error

  6. run it as administrator and it runs perfectly
running it normally makes it a normal command prompt
