Yahoo! Messenger shows a lots of ads in main window, chat window, etc, which don't look good. So here is a patch which can remove all these ads:
Download Yahoo! Messenger Ad Remover
Just download it, copy it to "%ProgramFiles%\Yahoo!\Messenger" and run it.

I agree with you. But all ppl don’t think the same and there are many ppl who want to get rid of these ads whether its Yahoo! Messenger or WLM.

these ads are a source of funds Yahoo! makes to support the network .. a price they deserve for their innovation ..
probably a de-motivating act for young innovators .. and least expected from such a talented guy "you"
you dont want ads, buy a paid version ...
Honesty, in todays world is obviously considered a foolish act, but in all sense it is a trait of the great men.
My yahoo looks better with ads!

I love to reply and solve other problems and you'll not believe how many mails I received about removing ADs from this Yahoo! messenger version. So I decided to post this article.

it would be nice to make a little tutorial on how you did it, that would be educative 
I only use YM cause my friends do, i don't like it (too overblown and commercial in my opinion). If it weren't freeware, everybody would use somethin else of course.
