Yahoo! Messenger shows a lots of ads in main window, chat window, etc, which don't look good. So here is a patch which can remove all these ads:
Download Yahoo! Messenger Ad Remover
Just download it, copy it to "%ProgramFiles%\Yahoo!\Messenger" and run it.

Does it show ads during chat room,webcam etc? and how to remove it?

^^ I have not checked in chatroom and webcam. So you can check it and see whether it shows Ads or not?

One thing i noticed is that this removes the ability to sign into your mobile device when exiting yahoo. Bit of a must have for me, hope this gets added back because I love having the ads gone, but its a deal breaker for me to lose mobile sign in.

What's the problem with ads? They ain't spam! After all Yahoo! is giving you all a software for free plus maintaining a large network of hundred thousands of people ..
one ad .. I guess it ain't a problem!
Moreover it kills the ability to log into the mobile device .. so I guess its a high price to pay for removing ads!

I agree with you. But all ppl don't think the same and there are many ppl who want to get rid of these ads whether its Yahoo! Messenger or WLM.
