Now its clear that Build 7100 is the official Windows 7 RC (Release Candidate) build. Neowin is reporting that Microsoft has provided this RC build to OEM partners and TAP gold customers.
RC build 7100.0.winmain_win7rc.090421-1700 was compiled on Tuesday.
MSDN and TechNet subscribers are expected to receive this build within next week where as the Public release might happen on 5th May.

And second, This OS is NOT a memory hog. Its the fastest (and probably the best) OS so far...
It would run on any PC with min 1 GB RAM!
