Office Tabs is a powerful office addin to view, edit and manage documents, workbooks or presentations etc via a Tabbed View in Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 and 2010.
Microsoft Office has not supported tabbed view by itself yet. Office Tabs solves this issue. With Office Tabs, you can manage multiple documents within a single window easily and quickly.

It works with all editions of MS Office:
- Enterprise
- Ultimate
- Professional Plus
- Professional
- Standard
- Home and Business
- Home and Student
The software includes three components: Office Tabs for Word, Office Tabs for Excel and Office Tabs for PowerPoint.
Its free for personal use and supports both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

Isn't there a hack like this for Windows Explorer? I remember seeing it a long time ago but I can't remember where.

Will it "translate" into Brazilian Portuguese? I found no way at their site to know about support to other languages.

Great Add-in for Word 2010 (x64) ... but:
"Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in."
So, how do I enable Tabs?
Trevanian
Update. Problem solved.
OS is 7-x64, but installed Word x32! So after installing 32-bit version of Office Tabs, no probs.
Thanks!
Trevanian
Eh, I mean 32-bit (x86), not x32.

Well, OfficeTabs stuff appear in English in the navigation pane, but the the tabs show "Documento1", which is Brazilian Portuguese. So perhaps it'll work the same way for other languages.
