Nimi Visuals is an eye candy program which can add various effects to your Windows Desktop. It supports Windows XP, Vista and 7. It should also support Windows 2000.
It adds various transparency effects, shadow effects to windows, taskbar, etc. Following is a screenshot of Windows 7 taskbar having Shadow and Blurred background with the help of Nimi Visuals:
The latest version of Nimi Visuals provides following updated effects:
New core version:
Faster start up time, better responsiveness, completely rewritten modules management core and many other major changes and upgrades.
New effects and existing updates:
- "Window snap"-snapping windows to each other and screen edge
- "Edge maximize" - maximizing windows when moved outside screen edge
- "Invisible desktop" - hiding desktop icons when desktop is not focused
- "Showcase" - with better rendering, changed to Win+Tab switch activation
And version highlighted effect:
"Taskbar and start menu blur" - providing transparent taskbar and startmenu with blurred background designed for non-DWM capable systems.

Thanks Vishal!, but there is one thing that makes me sad - I'm just to finish 10.1 with new great features ^-^'.
And one of them for sure will be breakthrough customization tool, with it's limitless possibilities. I can only reveal: imagine that You can make any dock You ever imagined in instant... but that's only small part of what it is able to do.
Anyway, back to work (I would like to at last finish today(almost 12 pm) works on upgrading second core) - thanks a lot for news m(_ _)m it really helps Nimi case.
Btw, mind You if I link AskVG back from Nimi website?

Sorry to ask ~Vishtal, but could You remove www from homepage link? Unhappily
it exceeded bandwidth (or Google got over sensitive after yesterday DOS attacks...there was something like that I've read somewhere?), and thanks to DNS binding(working on it) I can't redirect it to other location. Just http://mynimi.net would be fine.

oops and by the i'm on Windows XP SP3+ and I have every .NET framework and its corresponding update that Microsoft ever rolled out
... nimi is added to trusted in Kaspersky ... tried it with a couple of themes including you Refresh but no luck !!!

^^ Its a portable app so you don't need to uninstall it. Simple stop using it or delete its folder.

Hey, I just applied this Nimi stuff and i dont like it, everytime i try to open Nimi Visuals, it gives me an error report saying i cant run the program, i want my settings back to what they were before. please help me VG. thanks
