"AeroVG" theme is a new theme for Windows Vista users. Your system must be capable to run Aero to use this theme. This theme has been created specially for Aero users but Basic users can also use this theme. They'll get new Details pane (shell style), new progressbar and many other small changes.
Featured List:
- More transparent startmenu and taskbar
- Startmenu has square corners instead of round corners which looks cool
- Only active window taskbar button is visible to make the taskbar more clean and stylish
- Checkbox and radio buttons are Apple leopard styled
- Cool blue progressbar in dialog boxes
- Blue Control Panel sidebar
- Cool dialog box buttons
- Cool Details pane which have different colors for different folders like Video, Pictures, etc
- Transparent addressbar and searchbar in Explorer
- Transparent titlebar and taskbar in maximized windows
- Dark hovered, clicked, selected area in Explorer as well as in menus. Vista default selection bar is very light in color and doesn't look proper sometimes

^^ Thanks. I can understand where are you coming from and I completely agree with you. Actually a few theme designers like me can't forget the good old days of Longhorn and like this start button very much. I tried to make this theme a bit similar to Longhorn thats why I used a similar start button.

Hey VG, great theme. The problem I am having is that Aero works, the start menu is transparent but not the taskbar. The windows are transparent also. What is going on? I can not seem to find any thing in tuneup that would make it work. What should I do?

Hello, VG. May I tell you that your theme is absolutely beautiful? Problem is, it's becoming a major pain in the butt for me to install. I run Windows Vista Home Premium. I have done all the previous steps you had mentioned. I have downloaded and run VistaGlazz. I have given myself ownership of the Resources folder. I have unzipped [or tried and failed] the RAR file to C://Windows/Resources/Themes. Instead, I had unzipped it to my desktop and tried to copy and paste. It did not work. Under themes in personalization, Vista claims that your theme is there, but it does not look like your previous. It just has one of Vista's preloaded backgrounds. Any help you can offer? It seems like a really nice theme but it's driving me up the wall and at this point, I hope it's worth the time.

^^ Nope. But you can check "VistaVG Blue" which is a bit similar to this one.
