"AeroVG" theme is a new theme for Windows Vista users. Your system must be capable to run Aero to use this theme. This theme has been created specially for Aero users but Basic users can also use this theme. They'll get new Details pane (shell style), new progressbar and many other small changes.
Featured List:
- More transparent startmenu and taskbar
- Startmenu has square corners instead of round corners which looks cool
- Only active window taskbar button is visible to make the taskbar more clean and stylish
- Checkbox and radio buttons are Apple leopard styled
- Cool blue progressbar in dialog boxes
- Blue Control Panel sidebar
- Cool dialog box buttons
- Cool Details pane which have different colors for different folders like Video, Pictures, etc
- Transparent addressbar and searchbar in Explorer
- Transparent titlebar and taskbar in maximized windows
- Dark hovered, clicked, selected area in Explorer as well as in menus. Vista default selection bar is very light in color and doesn't look proper sometimes
- New Menubar & Statusbar

Cool theme but don't you have a version for 64 bit versions would be appreciated so much! This theme is incredible and have on a nother comp but since this is my main comp I'd also like it here but this one is 64 bit :( Any chances or ways to make a 64 bit version? Best regards Kasper

^^ This theme supports both 32 and 64 bit Windows. You'll need to patch your Windows to be able to use 3rd party themes.

Hey, I have tried following all of these steps, downloading and re-downloading win-RAR and following your steps to a T and can't figure this thing out. I have the theme applied, but it looks like my crappy old Vista Home Basic. I did just watch a movie online that automatically changed all of my settings back, and that is what inspired me to find an Aero theme. I cannot change the color scheme like I used to be able to in Vista. Do you know anything that can help all this? Please e-mail if you can. Thanks!

^^ It seems DWM (Desktop Windows Manager) service is not running in your system. Make sure its set to Automatic and running properly using "Services.msc".

Thanks, I finally got it working! The only thing I notice now is that it doesn't work when I have a window at full screen....do you know why that may be?

- This one apparently is transparent on Home Basic !!! I'm on Home Basic SP1 OEM and this theme is so far the only one that is transparent (everything transparent 4Real!!!)
