"AeroVG" theme is a new theme for Windows Vista users. Your system must be capable to run Aero to use this theme. This theme has been created specially for Aero users but Basic users can also use this theme. They'll get new Details pane (shell style), new progressbar and many other small changes.
Featured List:
- More transparent startmenu and taskbar
- Startmenu has square corners instead of round corners which looks cool
- Only active window taskbar button is visible to make the taskbar more clean and stylish
- Checkbox and radio buttons are Apple leopard styled
- Cool blue progressbar in dialog boxes
- Blue Control Panel sidebar
- Cool dialog box buttons
- Cool Details pane which have different colors for different folders like Video, Pictures, etc
- Transparent addressbar and searchbar in Explorer
- Transparent titlebar and taskbar in maximized windows
- Dark hovered, clicked, selected area in Explorer as well as in menus. Vista default selection bar is very light in color and doesn't look proper sometimes

pardon let me rephrase:
When I go in windows explorer the highlight when I move my mouse over the icons is yellow, also in the start menu when I browse the programs

^^ Nope. Its not yellow. Try to re-apply the theme. Might be your graphics card driver problem. make sure you are using latest VGA drivers.

Thanks for the fast response, here is what I get, tried re-applying stuff... Btw I'm using a patched uxtheme.dll for x64 vista... As for waiting for your answer I will try to re-install my video card driver... Thanks

^^ Its wrong highlight color. Must be either x64 patched file problem or your old VGA driver problem.

Hey VG,
You're theme is amazing.
I love using it.
However, I have one problem. Lets say I have an explorer open and I open the start menu. The transparency plus the white font and the almost always white background of the window makes it very hard to see. I was wondering if you knew how to change the color of the text on the right side of the start menu from white to black.

^^ Try to change the transparency color from Desktop Properties.

^^ I didnt ask to disable Transparency. Just change its color to make it more darker so that you can see the text. The text color can't be changed.
