Mozilla Firefox 3.6 Beta 4 Released

Mozilla has released Beta 4 of its upcoming web browser Firefox 3.6. This beta version is built on the Gecko 1.9.2 web rendering engine, containing many improvements for web developers, Add-on developers, and users.

This fourth revision of the Beta of Firefox 3.6 / Gecko 1.9.2 introduces several new features:

  • Beta 4 is a lot faster, and I'm very pleased with how Facebook now works properly! I also think it fixed most of my problems on YouTube and other sites.

  • Darkpotato, the final release will most likely be within 3-4 weeks. This is the last planned beta, there will be (hopefully) one RC, then the final.

  • This is faster than Chrome, at least for me!
    Minefield 3.7 is even faster.
