phew! still quite a list.

tried an interesting bug i know of during xp realm and it still is surviving up until windows 7 (dont know about windos 8 yet)

that's by creating a new folder and name it as "con" (without quotes). it wont allow you to do so and will give you and will give you an error msg "the specified device name is invalid"

that you will start having a double look if you are naming the new folder or renaming one of your drives :P

VG, I tried the classic theme to recreate the classic theme bug, but it didn't happen. My Windows 7 is not SP1, its RTM. Pretty odd

I tried the notepad bug and the task manager bug. I would not have ever noticed these bugs.

Let's Hope Microsoft Dosn't Let All These Bugs Stay In Win8 & Win 8 Have A Bug-Free Environment.
Though The Bugs Are Rarely Visible As They Are Present Where We Go The Least But Still It's Better To Remove Those Bugs.

VG, I recently got Bug @ Windows Developer Preview 8102

Open Network Charm bar menu -> Right click Wifi Connections -> Close charm bar but dont close window -> Try reopen Network charm bar from system tray. You got something not right.

Hope fixed in Beta public

I tested all and resulted in the following:
Bug 1: Confirmed, really weird
Bug 2: It may be reproduced and it is incredible, an extra bug lies in the fact that after you maximize the taskbar all windows applications such as IE are reduced in height.
Bug 3: Damn this is the classic theme and I hate it, it can have as many bugs as you want!
Bug 4: It really does not exist in SP1
Bug 5: Another inherited nonsense, did you remember those pointless messages in the old days of Windows 3.1?
Bug 6: Well, this assumes that the first written line is line number 1. Nonsense!

Bug 3 is fixed in Windows 8 too - there is not any Classic theme - there are only Hight Contrast themes.
Bug 6 is in Windows 8 too - I tried it now
