to David, i traced it back to the hotfix that installed recently.. i reformatted my laptop thinking that i fixed the problem, then this same hotfix installed itself again and I get this error... first time was 18th of may when i reformated after a virus, and then again on the 20th of may after reformatting to fix the 'blue screen' issue... since restoring to before this hotfix was installed, everything seems to work fine... hope that helps..

^^ Try to repair Windows using setup disc. It seems some system files got corrupted.

I was in the middle of downloading the automatic update for this SP3 and my computer shut down. Now I cant use my computer because when i turn it on it works for 1 minute then goes to a blue screen with a message saying the there are inconsistencies and then it restarts. What should i do?
