Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (SP3) Released



Service Pack 3 for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 is now available. SQL Server 2005 service packs are cumulative, and this service pack upgrades all service levels of SQL Server 2005 to SP3. You can use these packages to upgrade any of the following SQL Server 2005 editions:

  • Enterprise
  • Enterprise Evaluation
  • Developer
  • Standard
  • Workgroup

Note: To upgrade SQL Server 2005 Express Edition, obtain the SP3 version of Express Edition or Express Edition with Advanced Services from here.

    to David, i traced it back to the hotfix that installed recently.. i reformatted my laptop thinking that i fixed the problem, then this same hotfix installed itself again and I get this error... first time was 18th of may when i reformated after a virus, and then again on the 20th of may after reformatting to fix the 'blue screen' issue... since restoring to before this hotfix was installed, everything seems to work fine... hope that helps..
