Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) aka Morro Download Ends



Yesterday Microsoft released its new anti-virus program "Microsoft Security Essentials" aka Morro to public. It was announced that the free beta would be available only for first 75,000 users.

Today Microsoft has pulled off the free download link and now you'll no longer be able to download it. The official page shows:

If you have not downloaded it yet, no need to worry. There would be another beta available for public very soon. So stay tuned with us.

  • I too was fortunate to get it in time. It's a briiliant piece of software! It works like a charm and came just in time as my dad's Norton subscription is running out. Now Norton is unnecessary. MSE is so much better! And FREE. Thanks so much Vishal for alerting us to this! ;)

  • I already have a Morro setup,,but it is for 32-bit OS.It is not installing in 64-bit os.
    But I have Windows 7 64-bit
