Laptop and Netbook owners are always worried about battery backup time. They always want to increase the battery backup time as much as they can.
Now no need to worry. Microsoft has released a new Fixit which automatically detects system settings that can affect power usage, such as timeout and sleep settings, display settings, and screensavers, and restores them to their default settings.
What it fixes:
- Period of time before the computer goes to sleep is set too long
- Screen saver is used instead of setting the computer to enter sleep mode
- Display brightness is set too high
- Power plan is not set to the most efficient power plan
- Wireless adapter in not optimized for power saving
- Minimum processor state is set too high

I used this thinking it would restore my hibernation file a while back.Do you think you can help me VG?I used the actual fixit to restore it but the hibernation options disappears again I've even deleted the disk clean up reg entry but it wont come back

but all my settings are perfect for performance gaming it would ruin them my pc is always on and the cpu is always cold and the battery is wicked i made a mod for it i have to baterys its a lil big but meh
