Good news for Windows users. Microsoft has announced "Fixit Center Online" which finds and fixes many common PC and device problems automatically. It also helps prevent new problems by proactively checking for known issues and installing updates. Fixit Center helps to consolidate the many steps of diagnosing and repairing a problem into an automated tool that does the work for you.
You can use any computer with Internet connection to get started with Fixit Center. Simply download the Fix it Center client and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. You can install Fixit Center client on as many PCs you like.
Upon installation of the Fixit Center client, it automatically downloads the latest troubleshooters in Microsoft library to your PC. The troubleshooters can "find and fix" issues immediately or "find and notify" you of the issues it detected. The "find and notify" puts you in control – you decide which issues you want the troubleshooters to resolve. No matter what you choose, it shows you a report of what was performed on your PC and offer you options to learn or further investigate the issue or submit a support request at Fixit Center Online.

@Kei: You shouldn't expect that this program will work without any flaws just because it came from Microsoft. Moreover, it's still in testing phase so some buggy error might show up and may not work at all.
Well, I'm just going to wait until the stable version comes out.

Yes the mighty Microsoft their fix it centre needs to be fixed. I can install the exe program but all I get after that is can not install troubleshooters check your internet conection. this is just after it downloads the exe program, from the same internet conection that it tells me is not working. Good old Microsoft not often they get it right but they have stuffed up once again.

Like mickm0269 I also get the "CANNOT INSTALL TROUBLESHOOTERS CHECK YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION" message. Let's hope Microsoft sort this soon as Fix-It sounds like (potentially) a very useful tool.
