Make Your Mozilla Firefox Look-a-Like Google Chrome

Google's new web browser Chrome provides a very clean and simple interface and if you want to get the same interface in Mozilla Firefox, then you have come to the right place.

"Total ReChrome" is an add-on which can bring the same Chrome interface to Firefox. It puts the Tabbar at top and adds Glass effect to Firefox if you are using Windows Vista.

You'll also need to use "Chromifox" theme.

So after installing this add-on, your Firefox will look like as shown in following screenshot:

If you also want to get the auto-hidden feature of Chrome Statusbar in Firefox, then you can use "autoHideStatusbar" add-on.

Download Chromifox

Download autoHideStatusbar

Thanks to our active reader "Kishan Bagaria" for suggesting this add-on...

  • Dear Vishal,

You can add another add-on called Hide Menubar. It will hide the menu bar of Firefox, we'll have to press alt to show it temporarily. Hide Menubar Download Link
