MailBrowserBackup: Backup Your Web Browsers and Email Clients Profiles

When we start using a web browser, it automatically creates a new user profile or account for us to store our browsing data, cache, cookies, bookmarks, customized settings, etc. Similarly desktop email client programs also create a user profile for us to store our email account settings, emails, preferences, etc.

I always advise people to regularly export or backup bookmarks so that they can restore them if they reinstall Windows or the web browser in same or a different device. All web browser allow users to take a backup of bookmarks. For example, following screenshot shows import/export feature present in Firefox Bookmarks manager:

If you want to take a full backup of complete user profile created by the web browser or email client software, following utility will help you:

MailBrowserBackup” is an excellent utility which allows you to take complete backup of your web browser, email client and instant messenger profiles.

It’s a portable utility so you don’t need to install it. Simply run its EXE file and take the backups.

Taking backups and restoring is absolutely easy task. Run the application and it’ll detect the installed browsers, email clients, messengers and a few other supported applications like Filezilla, etc. Select the desired items from the list and click on “Backup” button.
