Nice tool... but with surprises!
I scanned my PC (with a Canon scanner, a Lexmark printer, wireless mouse & keyboard and a webcam) and these latter 3 items had the red cross mark (not compatible), while the rest was quite ok: hardware is good and some programs only need upgrade...
But the mistery is that the three "red crossed" items are all from Microsoft!!!
A wonderful Laser Wireless keyboard (and mouse) 7000 and a Microsoft LiveCam VX-1000 are not compatibe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They suggest to disinstall them before upgrading and there are new drivers/softwares to download by yourself... :-(
Fortunately somewhere in my cellar I kept a old keyboard/mouse USB wired pair! Never throw them away!!
Strange, but MicroSoft!
Ciao

Nice tool to help people feel confident in upgrading, however I've been using the TechNet RTM, so not needed.
