If you use Google AdSense ads in your blog/website, here is something interesting for you to try:

1. Log into your Google AdSense account.

2. Go to "AdSense Setup -> Color Palettes" page.

3. Here you'll see your saved color palettes listed.

Select a palette, make changes to it and save it.

As you can see in the above screenshots, I have changed text color to #333333 from #000000.

Now what should happen? All existing ads which are using the color palette should get updated and should start showing ads in your blog/website using the new color palette.

But that doesn't happen. Even though you change the color palette, all existing ads still show ads using older color palette.

Then what's the use of having a color palette? Color palette is used to make the task quicker and easier so that you can change all ads color in a single step.

PS: If you try to edit existing ad using "AdSense Setup -> Manage Ads" page, you'll find that the ad would be using the correct color palette but its color set would be set to old one.

You'll need to select any other color palette from the list and then re-select your newly updated color palette from the list. Now the color palette will show new updated color set.

Once you save the ad, your blog/website will start showing ads using new color palette.

So the bottomline is that having ability to save color palette to customize all ads quickly is not serving its purpose and we need to manually edit all ads if we want to change their color set.
