Internet Explorer 8 RC1 Released for Windows XP, Vista and Server 2008

Microsoft has released the Release Candidate 1 of Internet Explorer 8. Following operating systems are supported:

  • Windows XP
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows Server 2003
  • Windows Server 2008

  • @ Vishal: Do you think IE 8 RC is stable enough to download and use or,should I wait and see?Read alot on this and many say to avoid it for now until they get all the bugs sorted. Need your expert opinion on this one as,I do not trust just anyone.Your opinion is highly rated in my books.Please respond when you can? :smile:

    Its not available for Windows 7.

    You can install it without any problem and if you don't like it or face any problem, then you can uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs.

  • oh now i rememver in the download thing it is said that you can only use the built in version of IE8

    I installed this IE8 update and my Windows 7 skin died!! Seems that Microsoft patched somethin or I don't know, but.. HELP!!!

  • Are you using Vista, 7 or XP
    and if you use Vista just give it one more with VistaGlazz.
    XP: Give it a Uxtheme patcher
    7: I dont know try uninstalling IE8 RC1
