Many times website designers need to test their website in different web browsers. They also need to test the website using various Internet Explorer versions like IE6, IE7, IE8, etc.
Installing all IE versions in Windows is not possible. Today we are going to share an excellent free web browser which comes with almost all IE versions installed inside it.
IETester is a free web browser that allows you to have the rendering and javascript engines of IE10, IE9, IE8, IE7, IE 6 and IE5.5 on Windows 7, Vista and XP, as well as the installed IE in the same process.
Known problems and limitations:
- The Previous/Next buttons are not working properly
- Focus is not working properly
- Java applets are not working
- Flash is not working on IE6 instance
- CSS Filters are not working correctly in user mode
- windows.open does not return the newly created window but null
