Hey, that's a great tip but not what I was looking for.

I've tried searching but may be using the wrong terms. When installing or updating add-ons, the add-ons manager shows everytime when starting Firefox.

I really want to disable this very annoying feature. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

^^ Actually it finds the extensions list on mozilla site, thus spending your bandwidth if you are on limited net connection. So its better to disable this function if you don't need it. :)

Also sometimes this tab is automatically disabled, so this tutorial can also be used to get it back as I mentioned at last.
