Hi...........

My name is shailesh

i want to set a unick bios password for my PC
& no one hardware engineer also change it.

I know some methad.....

1. By using Jumper setting on mainboard.

2. By removing CMOS Battery on mainboard.

3. By using MS-Dos command.

But I want that not any above method will that password.

so if U have any idea about that Plz Tell me.

Hello! My name is Mr. IT1)I have a Dell Inspiron 1000 Laptop Please help i don't know what happen to my laptop. I was tried all possible password.
I was tried also the backdoor password but still the problem did not fixed.
2)any friend out there some idea on how to reset BIOS password please help me.

^^ Try to access it using cmd command in RUN. Also it should be present under "Accessories" menu.

I am attemping the MS DOS, but I don't usually do the system setup. Can you explain step by step how to access MS DOS? I didn't see it in the system start up, in start menu, or through mozilla. Thanks

nice to see informaion published. After lot of frustation on trying to unlock my Insyde BIOS F-36 modalled in Compaq Cq45-AU 106, want a peiece of useful info...

I made XP CD with SATA drivers using nlite etc.. but a blue screen is coming before asking the file system. my bios is locked and i am not able to get option to install XP. Can you please let me how to unlock BIOS to install XP.
