Try ashampoo winoptimezer, it has a tweak to enable the watermark to show up as well as hiding it.

hmm i have it on 2 drives too. i had vista on c, xp on d, and when i installed 7 over xp, it changed it to c drive and vista is now on d.

Installed windows 7 rc build 7100 in d drive along xp in c,
Is that the cause of problem?

^^ Its not a crack. Its a part of Windows customization. We are just hiding the build number from Desktop.
