Do what Crane has told its works for XP Operating System.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedUrls

and delete the unwanted entry.

go to tools, internet options, click on the content tab, under auto complete click settings, and uncheck the things you do not want

Under autocomplete click settings.

Uncheck address bar and select OK.
