Yahoo! released a special version of its messenger for Windows Vista, which has cool new features and interface. But its available only for Windows Vista. But here is a hack to install and use it in Windows XP:
1. Download the required file from any of following links:

Mirror: http://www.mediafire.com/?7emet9jdy12
2. Extract the downloaded RAR file and run "dotnetfx3setup.exe" file.
3. Now run "Yahoo.Messenger.YmApp.exe" and you can enjoy the Yahoo! Messenger Vista version in Windows XP.

I did install .net 3.0 on my PC and got YM Vista to work. But when I tried to log-in, it usually shows an error pop and the program shuts down. What could I possibly do to use YM Vista and sign-up with my current account?

hey i got the .net 3 installed it and began running the file, it came on, i typed in my address and password, clicked signed in, and as soon as it signs in it vanishes from the screen and the icon in the bar goes too.plzzzzzzzzzzzz help me i dont know waht to do.thanxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx alot.
