^^ No. You can format D: drive to completely remove the older Windows.

Regarding MSO Cache, yes. You can safely delete it.

the last question mr. vishal

i have mistakenly installed an xp on my drive D:

its a mistake while installing on my first use.

then later on after being infected with virus

i think my father repaired the os on C:

and suddenly the dual boot (both xp) has been removed.

but recently i have deleted the "windows" and "program files" which is used on the drive D: xp

is there any instance that the os installed before (on D:) has left some

hidden data that uses some space.

as u said pagefile.sys is a system file.

butin my D: i have deleted it since i only run on 1 xp (on C:).

^^ You can safely delete "MSOcache" folder but keep one thing in mind, you'll not be able to repair Microsoft Office files in future. This folder is used by MS Office for repair operation.

%windir%\Installer folder also does the same job. Its used by products which are installed using Windows Installer. I'll advise not to touch this folder otherwise you might face some serious issues.

^^ Its a system file for virtual memory. First you can't delete it. Even if you delete it using other installed Windows, it'll re-create itself at next reboot.
