If you are using Windows Vista or 7, then you must be well aware of the small horizontal capacity meter showing under HDD icons in My Computer.
Sometimes a few Vista or 7 users face a problem. These HDD meters don't show under drive icons.

It happens when you change the "Views" settings of My Computer window. The "Views" settings in your Windows must be set to "Tiles" if you want to show those HDD meters.
So just change the "Views" settings by clicking on "Views" button at toolbar and select "Tiles".
You can also set it to "Tiles" using right-click menu. Now the HDD meters should be back in your Windows.

I accidentially hid the details plain in the My Computer window. How can I get it back? (and How do I get it towards the top of the window like in the pics?)
And also I cannot get the drive capacity bar back because it does not show "tiles" instead theres "extended tiles"
Thanks
VG
You can enable details pane again by going to "Organize -> Layout -> Details Pane".

Thanks for the time to make this, even though as simple as this was I just didnt think "TILES" would do it, I was trying every different view and sort, properties on the group and sort, combo after combo. lol Thanks Simple ole tile .......
