Thank you for you hints, so easy! (method B) Just find the files on your HDD, delete them (FF does not even have to be shut down for that) and they after re-opeing FF all add ons can be used/installed again. Once more thank you.

Firefox is my main browser and the add-ons is an essential tool for daily internet usage. Deletion of addons after update had really inconvenienced me a lot. Thank you for solving my problem.

Thanks for failing to mention that method C will also delete all your addons. Time to hunt down and reinstall about a dozen of them.

Hi VG,

Im facing a critical issue in most of the pc in my network, can you suggest some solution to resolve this issue like in few pc im getting a error message like this
"The system process C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\SERVICES.EXE terminated unexpectedly with status code 128. The system will shut down and restart." and after that pc getting restarted and all the unsaved programes getting lost... plz help me awaiting for your replay.

OMG! Thank god for this site! It was ThreatFire that was creating the issue. I tried all of the above methods and it did not work. I suspened ThreatFire and that did work. Yeah!
