I opened regedit, and there was already a DWORD with a value of 1 in the MSNmessenger directory, and it still doesn't show the add-ins tab.

I'm on Vista 64-bit, do I need to make it a QWORD?

I'm unsure if the new WLM has disabled this feature or whatever, but it certainly not working for me. I did everything correctly, but with no results.

I have WLM 7 I think; I also have Windows Plus! Live. I really wanna test out some scripts I'm writing for WLM but I need this feature.

hi....i have windows live messenger 9 installed....and its not showing add-in tab in options under tools.

i have tried the method explained by you...but in regedit the mentioned value ("AddInFeatureEnabled")

already exist...i am not able to resolve the problem....as i have to add automatic translator to windows

live messenger...

I tried this in both Vista and windows 7 and neither worked. am I doing something wrong?

To everyone - this does not work in 2009 windows live mesenger!!!!
